Happy Friday Divas! As I mentioned before, today I want to give you a simple training plan for running a 5K. This plan can also be used if you are not running a 5K too. If you just want to challenge yourself to be able to run miles or you just want to increase your endurance, this is a good place to start as well.
This sample plan does not require any equipment. All you need is your running shoes and a possibly a mat for your strength training. See the below 5 week training plan.
Each week you increase the time you run and either increase the number of reps during strength training or the number of sets. This is just a sample plan but if you have more time you can break it down differently and you can also incorporate your own strength training regimen. The goal is to have a reasonable plan in place that will help you get to your 3.1 miles. Good luck!
Have an awesome day Divas and don’t forget to get GLAMfit!
